The course
The course was built in the late 1980’s to provide hours of entertainment to guests staying at Sylvan Glen and to maximise the use of the landscape and beautiful vistas.
The 2000 metre, Par 61 course has received great acclaim from all who have played it. There are five Par 3 holes (105 to 155 metres) and 4 Par 4 holes (216 to 365) of superbly maintained fairways and greens, which offer a challenge for competition play.
Alternatively, the picturesque surroundings and peaceful atmosphere make Sylvan Glen a very inviting course for a social game.
Sylvan Glen golf encourages social and corporate groups to come and play and enjoy our free bbq facilities while organising your own competition. Whether it’s a nearest the pin, longest drive or playing left handed, everyone has something to talk about with a beer in hand at the end of the round!
Current improvements to the course include the planting of over 800 trees, bushes and native grasses in 2008 as well as a new irrigation system to greens and tees, completed in 2009.
