A private wedding weekend at Sylvan Glen takes place over three days, not just a few hours.
People arrive, settle in, and stay. Nothing is rushed because there’s time before the ceremony, time after it, and space in between for everything that isn’t planned: the moments that often matter most!

Guests arrive to one place and settle in. There’s no transferring between venues, no tight arrival window, no urgency. Our very cool 61-seater bus is included to pick up and drop off your additional off-site guests in nearby Bundanoon.

Private accommodations
Our private wedding weekend venue contains the original historic Homestead and Bridal suite with salon. You can also ask for our optional Cottage, and Hideaway retreat for a total of 62 guests within the property.

Just for the couple
For our wedding couples, there is a lavish bridal suit with queen four post bed, Italian linen and air conditioning, with a rustic and spacious separate wing we call “The Salon”. Hidden away, it’s perfect for hair and make up and bridal preparations.

Meals and drinks
Our in-house catering and beverage team create the perfect reception dining experience. We can provide food for the pre-reception, and you can also choose between a banquet, cocktail reception, or two-course sit-down dinner. A hot dog stand is available for the late night, and you can also ask for a barbecue and a breakfast. Simply choose the options that suit you best.

Sylvan Glen offers a complete setting for a three-day wedding. We provide a large reception space styled in a rustic luxe theme, including seating for up to 140 guests, with a dedicated bar, lounge area, garden bar and of course a dance floor big enough for everyone.

We wanted to send a huge thank you to you all for this weekend. Everyone had an amazing time, and we couldn't have asked anything more from you. The food was outstanding, changing the ceremony location wasn't a problem at all, the guest house and scribbly cottage were loved by all, and nothing was too much trouble for anyone.

Beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Amazing hosts & staff. You are treated like you are family guests. Delicious food including country fully cooked breakfast, sandwiches & more. There are so many facilities. Tin of biscuits to have with a cup of tea in the kitchen at the guest house. All heated rooms with ensuites. Supplied toiletries. They have a golf course you can play golf. Also, an amazing barn with a fireplace to hang out!! There is so much more to say!!! Too much!! You gave to see it to believe it!!! A hidden treasure!! Highly recommend.

Our package included everything - catering, bride and groom accommodation, golf cart hire, wedding coordinator, bus to pick up and drop off guests from Bundanoon, equipment hire, etc. Couldn't fault them. It was magical and relaxed. Nothing was too hard. The food for the entire weekend was included. Donna (the owner) was fantastic. The rooms were all decorated differently and the bridal suite was beautiful. Would have liked filtered water available through the weekend though as the water from the taps didn't taste great. I loved having my immediate family with me the entire weekend. The food was plentiful with canapes, entree, main and dessert buffet with tea and coffee on offer and alternate drop. The food was delicious and no one went home hungry. They even made the effort to bring a plate of canapes down to the bridal party whilst we took photos. Everything was great!

A group of us from Sydney have been coming to Sylvan Glen for a Christmas in July weekend for 3 years now. Matt and his team could not be more accommodating and hospitable. They organized an amazing 'Christmas dinner' in their Clubhouse which was amazing. No amount of detail was spared and everyone had a great time. No. The ceremony, celebration, accommodation and shared meals all take place on the estate. Guests arrive once and stay for the duration of the weekend, which removes transport planning and allows everyone to settle in and stay present.
Sylvan Glenn offers both indoor and outdoor spaces that work naturally together. Plans don’t need to be forced or rushed if the weather shifts. The day adapt without stress, and the atmosphere remains intact!
No. We are able to provide everything you need, but couples are free to choose between their own suppliers. The estate is designed to be easy to work in, with flexible access and familiar layouts that help suppliers do their job smoothly, if needed.
Planning support is built into the experience. Donna works closely with couples to help structure the weekend, manage accommodation, and guide decisions along the way. In addition to the organization and on-site facilities, she can arrange local activities such as wine tasting and antique store visits.
